How do I get her to listen? I don't remember this with L (now 8.5) but she's always been a very independent butterfly, but turning 6 and starting K this year has made her worse I think. she starts a giggeling, and won't listen, or focus....

any ideas??? help!

Linda seems more sassy not than she used to be. She learns it from her friends at school. . Its frustrating I will say that.

yes!!!! the worse part is, her teacher adores her, so when her and her friends get to giggeling, she lets them, unless it's a quiet time.

It's so hard, even yesterday I was trying to tell her something and she just started laughing, and it's so hard, because he laugh is freaking adorable, and i end up laughing, and I don't want to, so it's hard to get her to stop. L was NEVER this giggle-y so it's all new to me...

I bet she grows out of that. But I would mention it to your doc, just in case you later decide her inattentiveness is like ADHD or something.
