What do you do to try and prevent winter colds? How do you treat them?

Lots of hand washing, vitamins and liquids. So far we are doing good at not getting sick.

You're asking the person who has been sick for well over a month now.

we were all so good until i got sick about two weeks ago and it lasted FOREVER!!!started as a sore throat and just escalated from there.....hacking cough hung on for about a week and a half it was horrible...nothing like getting up to do middle of the night feedings when you are sick as a dog. I am still coughing a bit. but at least i have my energy back.
But all the kids stayed healthy which is good

We've been pretty fortunate this winter, though Anica currently has a cough. I'm a stickler for lots and lots of handwashing.

I can't not bring the school germs home, school is more my home than my home sometimes.
