How did you name your kids? Was it an easy process?

There was much debate for all my kids....
Brandon got Brandon because it was the only name me and his dad could agree on.
Madeline was originally going to be a Daisy, but then Daisy Gaetz (sounds like gates) didn't sound good, then it was Elizabeth but my niece is named Elizabeth so then we liked Madeline because it was different. Shortly after that name became popular...i think the next year it was funny.
Amelia was originally supposed to be an Emily but for some reason mike could not say Emily and kept saying Amelia so we decided to keep the same older themed name since that was the name he could say too lol.
Sebastian was really hard because mike was convinced he was going to have another girl and not have a son. I wanted Jacob and had wanted Jacob for a long time if i had a boy....we fought and fought over it when finally he agreed with Jacob....but then i didn't want Jacob anymore lmao then we agreed with Sebastian because it was different and older themed just like the girls.
Sorry that was long winded lol

Brayden was hard until I bought a baby name book and then I saw it in there and said it to Justin and he liked it immediately.
Logan was easy it was a name I had always loved but didnt think of with Brayden and when I told Justin about it he liked it too
Caleb was HARD we couldnt agree on anything thing and then when we finally agreed on Caleb we couldnt agree on the spelling because he wanted Kaleb and then I suggested that we use his name has the middle name if he let me have my C and all was good until two days after he was born I said I was going to fill out the birth certificate and then when I said are you sure? he said yes so I sent it and then the next day he wanted to change it but it was too late.
The only issue with Isabella is that we both loved the name but the whole Twilight thing made us both nervous. We checked all of the kids classes though (year book and our youngest's pre-k names list) and not one Isabella so that made us both feel better about it.

It is like the number 1 name right now, so I understand that thought. We're down to 8 (which is still a lot) names right at the moment in the naming process.

I had to write down names when i was pregnant for sebastian but we had to incorporate either mikes name or his dads name in so we opted for their middle name which both are Douglas so i started writing down names with the middle then he crossed off ones he didn't like and then we discussed the other names until he finally agreed to the name i wanted and then i didn't want it anymore lol

Yeah, we aren't honoring anybody unless we go with my original girl choice, and then I'm going to honor my grandmother's both of them. Amber has the same middle name as my mother and my grandfather though.

I finally nailed down two first names, one for each gender. But the middle names are proving hard and DH isn't helping. His help is commenting on how that name is this or that, or it sounds like a song...blah blah blah. Foolish man child!

Awesome! Can't wait to find out when it's time. I think I got Kev down on a girls name. But we still need a boys middle name.

Good luck finding out. Can't wait to hear!
My kids all have family names or some variation except for the youngest. Like Kevin, DH wasn't much help at first, he would just find ways to creatively poke fun at the names I chose. I would go through websites and books and make lists that fit my criteria. Couldn't even get him to be serious about it until late in the third trimester.
