Well, I've lost interest in retyping the story again, so I'll steal my Catholic Parenting post about this, however, bare in mind I wrote it for them.
So tonight we had an hour and a half First Communion meeting for parents. Most of it was fine, though much of it she said at the First Reconciliation meeting. What bothered me was the video on what Communion is. Really? Do I really have to sit here and watch this? Shouldn't I probably already know that? But I'm going to pretend that it was for parents who are maybe married to a Catholic, but not themselves Catholic but are raising the kids that way.
One thing which I thought was particularly perfect for what happened after the meeting was that the lady leading the meeting said "Satan isn't happy about your child receiving First Communion, so don't be surprised if he tries to tempt your child." I found this of perfect note because I came out of the building got Courtney from basketball practice, got in the car, first song on the radio (country station) was one that's about a little girl who says Jesus was with her the night her parents died (if you listen to country you may remember it from a few years back.) I thought it was so appropriate. However, song ended, I'm turning left and somebody must have thought the left turn signal on their side was a green light for them and drove straight into my car. It totally freaked both me and Courtney out. I couldn't even get my brain to wrap around what had happened for a second, but then I looked up at the light "It's green right?" Yep, it was...Courtney wanted Daddy to come get her, but we weren't near home and it was near bedtime so I didn't want him to load up all the kids. I did try to get my parents to do so, but I felt like yep, when you're thinking good things, he sure does try to make you think bad ones.
Anyway, pray for Courtney to have a wonderful preparation for First Communion (May 6) please!

I couldn't fully calm down for hours, it was an awful day for Courtney, she got sent home from school for having a fever, one that was very minor so she felt pretty good, hence us being out later, but it turned into her throwing up hours later, and me too...it was so special and all the other things that the car accident turned into and the chaos of life turned into today really got to me a hard two days.

I'm due in June I say, but my midwife technically says May 31 And it does matter since I have two due date children and 0 over due (of 4) children, so I'm hoping for a May baby (I already have 2 June babies, a June husband and Father's Day). The pregnancy is going alright. The third trimester is my favorite trimester...4 more weeks! Woo! How about you?

I'm slowly doing better, but today is off -day again I hated the first trimester lol ( poor baby), I was constantly sick, threw up several times a day, sooooo tired. Poor DH cooked every day despite his demanding job because I couldn't bear the smell of food. Now finally better, but it comes by waves, like today. But I have faith in feeling better soon. I love the second trimester generally, baby starting to kick, and the least 'symptoms' lol . The third trimester is special, really feeling baby a lot and very conscious of it being born soon, but it's also uncomfortable carrying so much weight along! So I would say First place for second trimester, then third, then first lol

My symptoms from the first trimester last for far too much of the 2nd trimester for me to enjoy it as much as some people do. I still puke til at least 18 weeks, and I spend most of the rest of the trimester gagging (just writing that made me gag.) So...

I still get sick too but not all the time, fortunately! Just every now and then, and can't bear certain smells of foods

Ugh you girls are making me remember the morning sickness and the achiness that goes along with first and third trimester. 2nd one was awesome, it was comfortable and lots of firsts.
