Do you buy cards for your 04ers classmates, have them make some or do you not bother for Valentines day? For those that do send them do you send them to the whole class or just friends?

Brayden and Logan fight writing names on the cards let alone actually making them so I just buy them and have them fill them out.I really hope Caleb or Bella will want to make homemade ones with me when they are in school because I love doing crafty stuff.
I send them to the whole class and some years the teachers have required that you either send them to the whole class or none at all. I actually like that rule because it always broke my heart when I saw classmates of mine not get any cards.

We will send for the whole class, possibly beyond the class. Courtney's in a combo class (2nd and 3rd grade) the other 2nd grade class has a lot of her friends, so we may end up sending for a bunch of the extra second graders as well. We'll buy, I don't have time to do the make them idea.

Kids in HOlland don't celebrate Valentines day. Adults sort of do, but a lot less than most people I nfind here lol. Only about 20% celebrate it I think

The younger years, my kids make them. Then we buy them. My older son (9) has been too tough to give out valentines the past two years so we usually buy a bag of treats for him to give out. They only hand out Valentines to the kids in their classes.

Every year for all the holidays i made little loot bags with treats and stuff, this year i'm gonna save the money and just make valentine flowers out of suckers and they are giving out paper valentines that i bought. Much cheaper than spending almost 5 bucks a kid for 2 classes that's quite a bit of money.
