so, it started with my house smeling like oil...the heater repair man tells me the heating unit is cracked and the whole thing needs replaced and he had to put a shut off on it. it is $5,000 to replace it. Who has that kind of money?? Then I had to shell out money for a hotel room to stay at bc i knew i wouldnt be able to sleep at my moms house bc thats where i found my grandmother dead Then, I take the kids skating and a child tripped me and i fell on my elbow so I was in the hospital til 2:30 n i now have a sling on....GGRRRR
Yea I just got it fixed last year so that was like $500.00. So, when we got it replaced last year we bought the protection plan so I was thinking ok some of this should be covered. But no, since its the whole unit that needs replaced its not covered grr so I been shelling out this money every month for a protection plan for what. Anyway, the kids had fun swimming at the hotel and my heater is getting replaced this morning. Thank GOD!
That's horrible...I feel violated lol. To top it off we turned the new heater on this morning and the house filled with smoke and the fire alarms started going off at 5:00 this morn....I need a vacation lol
haha, we have now had to resign ourselves tot he fact that ours will continuously quit working and then we have to happen to notice it has (cuz the emergency heat kicks on when the regular quits working, it just raises the power bill by like $400) so we can go reset the whole system, and then wait til it does it again.
