Do you have any brands that you prefer for your baby for clothes? What about footwear, is your baby wearing shoes - and if so, what brands do you buy? Are you a name brand mommy or do you prefer the less expensive store brand stuff?

Thank you Jaidynsmum for the siggy!
I really love to shop at Old Navy. I love their styles and the quality is just fine. As per brand names like Gymboree or Gap, I never shop at those stores, I find that even their clearance racks have ridiculous prices I can't justify. ($39.99 for baby jeans??? That's a sale???)
I do love brand names, though. I love that it doesn't shrink and still looks great after several washes. We have a Once Upon A Child pretty close to where I live and I always find Baby Gap clothes there, and even TCP, Roots, Gymboree very very cheap.
ETA: shoes... not sure. We get a lot second hand from SIL's little girl, but if I buy something, I buy anywhere.

Whatever's on sale. I really don't prefer a brand of anything... except socks, LOL, whatever brand socks they carry at Sears is the best bc they DO NOT come off! Love 'em.
I'm excited about the shoes I just bought Cade bc they're "brand name" LOL... Bobux I-Walk & See Kai Run. They were originally $50 each and marked down to $15 each on Amazon.com. Who pays $50 bucks for a pair of shoes? I normally wouldn't pay $15 each but I searched our entire city for him a pair of shoes & couldn't find anything, so I splurged when I found those on sale, LOL. Plus they're size 4, a little big on him, so hopefully he can wear them till the end of winter.

I do LOVE Cade's Baby Gap pants, but I would NEVER EVER pay full price for something like that. My MIL bought them... I think she paid full price for the jeans & got his kakhis on sale... but he's worn them out!
I dont get name name brands because I cant afford them, but my nana often sends me "next" baby clothes, and I LOVE them! They dont get those little fluff balls all over them no matter how much you wash them, they dont get all out of shape etc and I love the soft material.
I get Noelias clothes at supermarkets because its way cheaper.I can usually get her a full suit for 8€,so if I spend just 50€ I can get her clothes for 5 or 6 different days. She grows out of everything so quickly that the quality isnt really important just yet.
She doesnt wear shoes.I had one pair of weeboks when she was a baby, but I never put her in them.

Thank you SO much for my new siggy Julia (Julka)!
I'm usually a name brand mommy. I love the clothes from Baby Gap, Old Navy, and The Children's Place. I do buy things from Wal-mart or Target though if I think it's cute. I just bought a cute top and skirt for Mia last week at Wal-mart for summer.
Mia has a couple pairs of shoes, well one pair of shoes one pair of boots. The shoes I got at TJ Maxx and the boots my sister bought for her from the mall. I have no idea what the brand is.
My favorite are whatever is given to me!! I have only bought him a few peices of clothes that i see and it is so cute he has to have it. My sister always buys Gap, Ralph Lauren, Gymboree, so thats what Ky wears! I love Gap jeans because you get can some with a lining in them so they are super warm for winter!
No shoes here. I don't see the point, and my pedi. said they have no purpose at this age.
I love Old Navy as well. I do shop the sales at TCP and can usually find some great deals. (In fact this past summer I picked up Lily's whole summer wardrobe from TCP for under $80!). I do shop for quality though, because I try to get the clothes to last for three girls!
I buy name brand and also off brands...whatever is cute and a good buy. My favorite brand for Carrie is Carters. For the older kids I think I like The Children's Place the best. Carrie has a pair of soft pink shoes I got from Target...they are super cute but serve no actual purpose, lol. Once she starts walking I'll probably get her some from Payless.
I'm a totally un-brand name mommy, myself. I think the prices on the brand names are ridiculous! Like Julia said, $40 for a pair of baby jeans on sale?? I think not. I actually really like the Garanimals stuff at Walmart. I will admit I like how cute the Carter's stuff is, but I'll only buy it at Walmart, heh. I shop Old Navy for sales, but won't buy anything regular price there.
As for shoes, Danny's not a shoe boy. I do have one pair of slipper shoes, like Robeez only they're the $12 knock offs at Target, LOL. I use them when we're going out to keep his socks on. Otherwise, honestly, we prefer barefoot ... just seems better to help them learn to use their feet!

Thank you Jaidynsmum for the siggy!
i prefer the cheapest baby clothes i can find. Granted ill shop at stores like Babies r us, jcpenny, kohls, carsons, sears but usually only on the clearance racks. Ive already got mackenzie a whole summer wardrobe in 12-18 months and the peices i bought only cost 1-3 dollars each. I am so thrifty. She outgrows it so quickly that i dont want ot spend a ton on things.
I actually just bought her an adorable pink zip up sweater at jcpenny the other day for only 3 dollars for her. it will get us through spring.
Ive gotten her 2 pairs of carters jeans for only 5 dollars each. usually get carters tops for 3 dollars.
for pajamas i buy the two peices at walmart for only 6 dollars
i dont have a brand preference, just as long as its cute and it fits!
And i usualy overbuy for her anyways. SO most things only get worn a few times before she outgrows it, so all her stuff is still in really good condtion.
I am not brand specific, but I do love Carters! I have a hard time finding clothing that is age appropriate in the sizes my kids are in, so the Carters Outlet gets a lot of my business!
I buy almost all Carters. We have an outlet close by and they always have GREAT deals, plus for every 50 you spend you get 20% off. I also buy some at TCP, they also have an outlet, but it is all the same stuff that is in the stores but cheaper!
I love whatever is given to me. I think I have bought her 4 outfits ever. I think namebrand stuff is very cute, but its wwwaaayyy out of my price range.
as for shoes she doesn't wear any right now but when she does, she will wear her sisters old shoes until she is a little older

I love me a good Old Navy sale (his dresser is proof of it...fulllllllllllllllllllllllllll of clothes lol). The baby gap outlet has some really good deals on occasion, but never when I go, only when my mom goes lol (she scores 70 cent onesies and stuff there). Carters is all right, but I normally only buy sale stuff in the back. But really, if it's cute, I will buy it and I don't care whose name is on it.
As for shoes, he is currently wearing some fake crocs my mom bought him at Target (he prefers to chew on them and not wear them), and a pair of blue/yellow sneakers that are SO CUTE that I picked up at Oshkosh outlet on sale. I also picked up some sketcher sneakers at the outlets, some adidas soccer sandals (won't be wearing these til like end of this year), and he's got some saucony sneakers I got on sale at piperlime. My mom picked up some summer water shoes at the children's place outlet for $1. Honestly, as long as they're a lil wide and flexible and cheap, I don't mind purchasing them before he can fit in them. If he never wears them, I'm only out a few bucks.
I was scrolling down through the replies and thinking about what I like when it comes to Reid's clothes, when suddenly I realized: I NEVER buy him clothes! He is swimming in the amount of hand-me-downs he has from his older brothers, plus both of his grandmas buy him things. I don't know if I've bought him a thing since he was newborn! For my other boys I usually shop at Walmart or Superstore because that is what we have locally. I have been starting to look online at Please Mum because they have some good clearance AND they ship to Canada!!! I was quite excited about that since Old Navy, the Gap, TCP and all the rest don't ship here, even though we have all those stores here.
We love Old Navy and BRU. He has gotten quite a few clothes from Carters from relatives for Christmas. I like the clothes but I think they run small. The 18 month clothing is snug on him. I've also bought him a couple of things from Gap and I love the way they fit him. I only buy sale items though. As far as shoes, he has some name brands that my cousin gave me that were her little boys. I will not buy name brand shoes for a baby when they outgrow them so fast. I usually buy his shoes from Walmart.
I am definitely a name brand mommy because I think they have the cutest things. I like to dress my son like a little person. I try to avoid clothes that have teddy bears and baby prints on them. I have a hard time dressing my son in things that may be too specific to something because I'd rather it reflect him and right now he's too young to have established any real preferences or favorites of things.
As far as brands go, I really love Baby Gap!! I think they are my favorite, but I also enjoy Children's Place and Old Navy.
