I took Veronika to the Ped today for her 2 year checkup, and she's doing great!
Weight - about 26 1/4 lbs.
Height - 35.5 inches
She cried the whole time, she was terrified even though she's up-to-date on vaccines and didn't need any. He did give us a long developmental checklist to complete before we left (he said it's a standard now at 2, 3, 4, etc. year appointments).
The checklist had things like,
- can she put 2 words together, i.e. "want cookie."
- can she stuff small objects into a larger box.
- does she understand simple instructions.
- can she take off her hat, or shoes, etc.
- can she play among with or enjoys watching other kids play.
- can she eat with utensil (fork) without creating too much mess.
Don't remember what else, it had maybe 25-30 items on the list, but I put "yes" for everything, so we were allowed to go home, lol.
