We never do anything fun with bonus' or tax returns. We usually pay off bills. Last year we managed to pay off most of our debt, so maybe one day soon we will actually be able to do something fun with that money.

This year the 20% ARM on our house is just slightly higher than our tax return, so we're putting the full return on it + a little extra and closing it out.

This year we bought a fridge, paid for another class for me for college, put money away for our xmas vacation, bought a dresser for the baby, got DH a tablet PC, and paid a couple of smaller bills like car insurance.

Savings and a few items for us. We're thinking about a Disney cruise in October.

We will be opening Grady's college fund, and putting the rest in to savings . No debt to pay off this year, which is shocking!!!!!

We just replaced my van with a used van, but it cost more than our settlement from totaling our old van. So tax return goes into savings since we had to pull money out.

We will be paying off some debt that we accumulated when we moved. It was great to get a new house but then you find out all the things it still needs. Blinds, extra towel bars, shelves.....the list seems to go on and on.
I'm sure we will take a few hundred and splurge on something for the house. I've been wanting an entry way table or bench. Something with baskets under it so we can store all the girls shoes, hats, gloves.

We will be using most of it to pay off some bills. Then we are planning on using the rest to pay for a new roof. The rest will go into our savings account.

We usually use ours to fund home improvement projects. This year, it's hardwood floors for our family room and a playroom for Leah. Any extra is for Disney.

Not much at all back this year - grrr filing married separately... super annoying. I paid off a few outstanding bills and put the little bit remaining in my savings acct for emergencies. Fun stuff, huh.
