What are some of your toddler's QUICK favorites for breakfast?
What about for you, any good grab and go ideas?
Danny loves - LOVES - pancakes, but honestly, it sucks to make them every day. I try to make a few days' worth and freeze them, but I'd love a few other ideas to stock up on before the baby comes and mornings get crazy. I could fall back on Pop Tarts, which are practically a food group in Danny's mind, but I'd rather not
As for me... I dunno. I've been on a huge cereal kick lately.

Ethan loves cereal! He loves all kind of cereal. It's quick to make but takes a while for him to eat. I like English muffins and bagels.

Pop tarts??
Cereal with milk is always quick & easy. Or instant oatmeal. Frozen waffles are a hit here (I don't like to give them frozen pancakes, they taste kinda rubbery), but we don't have a waffle maker, so those make quick breakfasts on school days. With syrup and fresh fruit or berries. I do make real from-scratch pancakes but only on weekends because they take a lot of time to make, but definitely should try making in advance & freezing! I keep meaning to.
I think my girls didn't eat any scrambled eggs the first 2 weeks after the baby came home but aftewards, I started making them again because it got a lot less chaotic. They also love hard boiled eggs and those could be made the night before. But they just kinda cook themselves.
Today I made DH & I egg wraps Whole wheat tortillas and just put scrambled eggs with ham inside, topped with grated cheddar and rolled up - so good! I also make ham & cheese frittata on weekends - takes 5 minutes to assemble and then just bakes itself for 30-40min, don't have to do much. I also eat cereal, oatmeal, cottage cheese (sometimes mixed with jam), cream cheese on bread/bagel. Or deli cold meats or cheese sandwiches.
I am a big breakfast person

I personally don't eat breakfast but the only kind of breakfast I do for my kids are fast. We buy frozen waffles and frozen pancakes which suit them just fine. Alexander also likes to eat cereal sometimes. I just don't have time in the morning to cook anything before Alexander has to get to school. I do make eggs for Mia sometimes but that has to wait until after we back from taking Alexander to school. Mia used to eat instant oatmeal but she got sick of that after a while and won't eat it any more.
My kids do get poptarts on occasion. I don't make a habit of buying them though.

We eat a lot of cereal here and toast/english muffins. Sometimes yogurt and fruit as well. I also buy frozen waffles for Leah since she loves those - and it's close enough to a pancake that she can get her fix since I usually only make those on weekends.

LOL Julia. Shake your head all your like, but years back, when Danny wouldn't eat any solid food without gagging, it was one of the first things he would actually bite and chew. So I made peace with them, and I just limit how often I have them in the house.

My girls like the mini bagels, frozen waffles, yogurt and fruit, and cereal. I don't make pancakes or eggs unless it is the weekend. Paulie eats a bowl of oatmeal every single morning.

Caden and Adi will eat frozen waffles, pancakes (but I don’t buy those often as they are rubbery), cereal and French toast or just toast. Adisyn will eat eggs/omelets on the weekend when we have time to make them – but not Caden he is still a picky eater.
I generally eat 2 hard boiled eggs, a bowl of fruit and a granola bar for breakfast.

I make the "just add water" pancakes. Probably full of stuff that's not great, but they're super easy to make and eat.
French toast is a favorite of mine... very easy.
Scrambled eggs, though I'm not often a huge fan of eggs for breakfast.
I'm ALWAYS a big fan of cereal, so I eat that a lot... less this pregnancy, it makes me feel a bit sick for some reason? But Kate just figured out how to eat with a spoon so she is totally loving the cheerios in milk now, rather than just plain cheerios.
Sometimes we make crepes on weekends, but that's more time intensive.

We do cereal or toast most of the time. But recently I've been trying to make homemade granola and I came upon this recipe: Ultimate Irresistible Granola Recipe - Allrecipes.com
It is fabulous!! So we've been eating a lot of granola.

Elijah gets fed breakfast as school Monday through Thursday. Hunter isn't a big breakfast eater (like me) so he will grab a granola bar on the way out of the door to school or sometimes an apple or banana.
On Fridays, depending on what's going on I'll give Elijah a bowl of oatmeal, cereal, or a poptart (which he LOVES, and yes I like the chocolate ones too..LOL). On the weekends I'll make cinnamon rolls, pancakes, muffines, sausage gravy and biscuits, or bacon and sausage biscuits. None of those are terribly time consuming. On Sundays we all usually grab a granola or cereal bar b/c we are blazing out the door to be at church by 8:30..lol

Keller is super picky about everything.
he usually eats whole wheat toast with jam or cinnamon. He doesn't like frozen waffles, but he will eat waffles if I make them myself. Muffins if I have made them ahead of time are quick. He has started eating some dry cereals. Loves bacon or turkey bacon.
And I found organic toaster pastries (poptarts) that are whole wheat with a jam filling and nothing artificial. Personally I think they are more gross tasting than a regular poptart, but the kids like them and they are good for those mornings when we are running so fast they eat in the car!
I like protein shakes for breakfast usually.

Miranda, I'll be honest, I haven't been brave enough to try the chocolate ones...because I'm kind of afraid I'll like them, LOL!
Emily, what kind of protein shakes do you do? I may have to get some for something quick and easy for me to grab and down on the drive to Danny's school.

I am still ordering the ones from the weight loss clinic I was going to (and am going to BACK to after vacation). They are a Bariatrix Proti drink thingie. But I have tried the Special K ones and they are pretty good, but have a fair amount of sugar along with the protein. I know a lot of people drink Myoplex.

Kyle used to eat frozen waffles or pancakes every morning, but I started noticing him getting really hyper and then crashing, so I switched to oatmeal, eggs, peanut butter toast , yogurt or fresh fruit for breakfast and he lasts much longer on that!
