I peek in on the big boys often when I get up to nurse Andrew, and I've come to the discovery that Danny now sleeps on his back, head on pillow, covers pulled up. No more tummy sleeping, no more legs tucked under him... Kid is undeniably a big kid now!

Then the other day after dinner, he jumped up with no prompting and put his dishes in the sink before going off to play.

What are some of the things your LO is doing that reminds you they're growing up? Danny's still supposed to be my little guy, I didn't give him permission to grow up

Her independance, she has to do everything she even asks me not to put her to bed sometimes. Keeley is my last baby and its going by so fast.

Yah, before Sebastian came along, Veronika was the "baby" and when he was born, she suddenly seemed so big! She uses a lot of words & phrases that I never knew she even knows and that always throws me off. And she insists on doing many things independently as well!

Leah has to do everything independently as well. She won't let me choose her clothes/shoes anymore; she has a mind of her own when it comes to her wardrobe! If we're playing outside and she needs something indoors, she'll tell me to stay there and she'll go get whatever it is. She has to do everything herself.

I finally caved and let my girls paint their own nails. Addy was so proud! She also has started doing my hair and actually getting a hair tie in.

Birk went outside and got the mail by himself the other day. And last week when I didn't do something he wanted me to do, his arguments were really grown up... one were "but, you're my mom!"
