I've been getting gray since I was 24 so I've been dying it since then. I used to get it done at the salon but now it's too expensive and time consuming so I do it myself. Occasionally I'll have it done at my salon when I need my hair cut.
Yes, but it's more for fun than anything else. Right now I'm doing it myself but was going to a salon previously. I have been keeping it darker than my natural color and recently had hot pink highlights that I loved (there were only a few and they were subtle).
I have dyed my hair before (highlights), but what a pain in the booty to maintain... they grew out as soon as I got them. LOL I'm too low maintenance for dying my hair unless it's the temporary kind that washes out in 20 washes or whatever. I have done that at home a few times and I liked it (I've always gone darker).
Not too many grays to cover yet. When they do come I guess time will tell how I decide to handle them. Will I leave them be, or cover them up??
I've been getting gray hair for years now, I blame the kids. LOL
I've been going to a salon to do it, but the past two times I've just done a root touch up at home and it has worked well. I can't decide on the type of cut I want for my hair so no sense in paying for a cut and color when I can just touch it up at home.
I am a big believer of dying the gray's. My mum is 60 and she looks 45 so she always dyes her hair. It is really difficult though because they don't make our actual color of red anywhere. She has to mix two colors to get it sort of close. I dread the day I have to start covering the gray. I have never in my life dyed my hair.
I have had a grey streak in the front of my head since I was 12 years old. I used to dye it constantly, but don't bother at all anymore! My grey's are silver and are the same texture at the rest of my hair. I actually get compliments all the time on how pretty my grey is and people think I put the grey streak in on purpose..haha. I do have a lot of grey hairs besides the streak, but I don't mind them at all!

I used to get highlights, pre-kids, but now it's too much of a PITA and too expensive. I don't have any gray hair yet, so I will save my money now b/c as soon as I get more than 3 gray hairs I'm going to the salon! LOL
