Does bedtime change during the summer for your child/children? Does your child stay up later?

Both kids seem to want to stay up about a half hour later - so Keller is going to bed aroun 9/9:30 and Isla around 8:30/8:45. It also depends on the day b/c DH has softball two nights a week and we usually don't even get home until about 8:30.

Yeah, I moved bedtime for all the kids from 8 until 9. Evenings are the nicest part of the day right now, so we stay outside as long as we can.

Yep, Leah doesn't go to bed until 9pm, sometimes 9:15. We're often outside playing in the evenings and with it staying light out until just about 9, Leah doesn't think it's time for bed until it's dark - and I can't blame her, I was the same way as a kid!

Cooper has been up later the past few weeks, we usually try to have him in bed between 9:00 and 9:30.

Ethan has been going to bed around 9:30 or 9:45. It's still light at 9 so it's hard to explain to him that it's bedtime. It does seem early at 9.

You will lose your mind? I thought you lost that a long time ago, LOL!!
As for us, our summer starts tonight, and I imagine bedtimes will be about an hour later or so.

Mia used to be so great about going to bed at 7 or 7:30 but since summer started it has gotten later and later. And my DH sometimes doesn't get home until almost 7 so I can't expect her to go to bed and not see daddy. Now her bedtime is generally around 9 but it gets pushed a little later sometimes depending on what we're doing. In the fall I'll try to get her back on a routine of going to bed about 8 or 8:30. Alexander stays up until we go to bed around 11. During school he goes to bed around 9:30.

David is such a night owl, if he could he would happily stay up until midnight or later. However I try to have him in bed before 10:00

Well, I work so, nope bedtimes don't change. Jack and Olive go to daycare and I still have to be at work for 8 am.
Olive goes to bed at 7pm, if she lasts that long and Jack is in bed at 7:30pm.
