Do you go to the beach or lake swimming a lot? Does your child enjoy the sand?

Ethan loves the beach. He has been a couple of times this year already. Dh and I plan to take him again soon.

Nope... it's all lakes here, really, and nothing very close to us.

Both! We live about 45 mins from the beach but it's pretty chilly. That doesn't stop us from going several times a yr. I'm hoping to head over to the beach this next week. I've been wanting to go seen that big dock that floated over to the Oregon coast. I'm sure some of you have seen it on the National news. It is from the tsunami in Japan.

We also live about 10 mins from a lake. We fish and swim in it.

We don't live anywhere near a beach but we love to vacation at the beach. My kids love the sand.

I don't like going to lakes. Maybe it's because every lake around here always seems like it would have snakes in it. They are just kind of gross to me. I feel different about the ocean though.

The beach is my happy place, but we don't live near one anymore. Try to vacation there when we can. Leah loves the sand, the ocean, all of it!
