We just found out we are expecting. We are super excied however, I just got my second levels back and although the quant doubled my progesterone dropped by 5. Does this mean I will miscarry?

I have no answers for you but I'm praying for a H&H 9 mos.  What was your progesterone level? Everything I've read says over 20 is good and dropping a bit isn't a horrible thing.

I dont know but i'll be wishing and praying for a H&H 9 months for you! Did the Dr say anything about taking prometrium or anything for the progesterone?

Thanks ladies! I haven't spoken to the doctor yet. I am impatiently waiting for a call. LOL
My numbers were 25.9 and dropped to 20.9. I just think that is a huge drop for just 2 days. I think I will ask the Dr. to go on progesterone and if she doesn't think that is necessary I will ask to have my blood re-drawn on Tuesday just to be sure.
I hate not knowing what to expect. I know that cramping is completely normal but since my numbers are dropping I am so anxious that I will miscarry.

Thanks ladies! I talked to the nurse at the office today and she said my numbers are great. She said she would ask the midwife about the large drop and see if she will call in a script for progesterone supplements just in case it continues to drop.

I started on progesterone today! So lets hope that this keeps everything going in the right direction! I think I can set up an ultrasound at 6 weeks. but the nurse said that she thinks I am just 4 weeks along instead of 6. So in 2 weeks!

I can't wait to see if your due date changes. We'll be super close if you're 4 weeks. But.. My babies keep getting earlier. 38w Bree, 36w5d Wy, so who knows?

Thanks ladies! I totally forgot how nerve wracking early pregnancy is. I am so cramping and having some sharp pains. I don't think I really will get excited until I have my first u/s on July 30th. I don't know if I am just trying to protect myself or if I really am just getting bad vibes for this pregnancy.
