Ellie is usually pretty responsive. I can tell her to do something or not to do something and she listens.
Lately she has been doing the complete opposite. Not in way that she is being sneaky or defiant but as if she didn't even hear me.

Anyone else have the same issue lately?

Yes! Especially if he's engrossed in playing with a toy or something on tv. He will ignore me. It's very irritating. I tell him that if I have to tell him again he's not playing with anymore toys for the rest of the day and no tv. That usually works.

No, Veronika doesn't ignore me or pretend she didn't hear; rather, she gives me 10 loud reasons why she shouldn't be doing what I asked of her.

oh goodness Julia, that sounds just like Lily!!

I have the same problem with Katie and Julia, unless I turn off the tv, take the book away, or remove any distraction, they just don't hear me! Once I do have their full attention then it really isn't an issue though.

Yep!! I've started the "EYES ON ME PLEASE" to get his attention before I even start talking. lol

Ugh so frustrating! I do a bit like Emily, but I make Jack repeat what I am asking him to do.
