My appointment I had moved up to yesterday late afternoon, and didn't have time to post results of anything because my computer has been S-L-O-W and my son is sick (and now, I'M sick). I had to have my appt yesterday because I have a raging yeast infection and I was going crazy. He says it's just external though, none internally, so he prescribed me some Nystatin cream. It's a life saver! We heard the baby's heartbeat only very faintly, but it registered around 147. He said "sounds like a girl!" lol! My dr sort of creeped my out yesterday because a female nurse has always been in the room, or my fiance, but Alex was acting up and fiance had taken him down the road to the park. Well he came in, silent, did the pelvic exam, silent, and it was all very awkward when the nurse came in and asked if he was ready and he said he'd already done it. It sort of made me very uncomfortable but I didn't want to whine or sound like I would sue the guy or something. It was just..weird.

Anyways Alex had an appointment today. He has a bad cold, cough, runny nose, and fussy. I woke up with it today, so I feel miserable. Oh and the dr is mad at me because I lost 8lbs since my last appointment a month ago! I've been eating and haven't vomited once, it's really weird. Maybe I'm just eating healthier? Anyways, thought I'd upate everyone.

My next appointment isn't until November 5th.

I personally wouldnt have let him without someone in the room, but you know Im just weird like that.

Im sure my OB is going to yell at me as well, because I was 218ish and now Im 209-ish. Not so good.

But all in all, Im glad you were able to get something for your yeast infection. Ive never had one, but I hear they can be awful!!!!

Glad you got an earlier appointment, yeast infections are the worst, especially with everything else going on with our bodies.

I am very happy to hear your appointment went well other than the weird awkward moment.

I have always had just male doctors and never had a nurse with them. That is a rather new practice if you are alone a nurse comes in with a male doctor. Even my Primary care has a nurse come in sometimes.
