lol got my head stuck in a book and videos online so I'm driving myself nutso right now with this ... but ... I WIL get the hang of it ... trying to make something simple with it like a belt or scarf ... not sure ... If I can get past the first row then I will be more adventurous

Just to warn you it tends to curl after a few rows. I'm just doing something simple too . A cotton dishcloth in the knit stitch . I have to do something small because I don't have a afgan hook yet. But I just got a new crochet book Sat,(Mr. Funky's super wonderful crochet lol) and I need to make two bear water bottle holders for our may playroom weightloss challenge.

Our you guys having any tropical storms over that way?

oh wait! the curling is normal??? I was frustrated and totally frogged it cause it kept on curling and I thought I was doing something wrong! lol

I put it down and tried doing a basic granny square which YAY I finally managed to get done

Nope ... not anywhere near us right now but it IS our Hurricane Season ... we usually get spared cause we're the most out of all the Caribbean islands so so far we have been lucky
