I have been having SO much fun doing arts and crafts. I have made several things in the last month. A mouse cross stich, a latch hook horse, a hand embroidered shirt, I've also started on Tiffany's Halloween costume, and just got fabric to make her curtains!

It feels good to be creative again! It's hard to find time, but I've been making it my top priority for the few hours we are up at night after we put her to bed, and I'm tickled with the things I'm making. I feel so creative, and proud!

I thought I'd share a few pics with everyone!

Here is the mouse cross stich. There was more to the design, but I like it this way with just the little mouse.

Here is the horse latch hook. Latch hook is probably my favorite thing to do craft wise!!

Here are a couple pics of the shirt I decorated. I used a Gemagic to add the gems and rhinestones and I hand embroidered the design. I used some iron on ink to put the general design on, and then stiched over it. I decided to add the bling as part of the design, and I think it turned out GREAT!!! The best part is it cost me about $8 total to make, including the shirt, and it's tailored in such a way that it hides my mommy tummy! YAY!!!

Here is a sampling of the toppings for Tiffany's Halloween costume. I cut out a ton, but here's a pic of each kind. She's going as a slice of pizza, so I cut out pepperoni's, bell peppers, black olives, and mushrooms. I am just tickled with the way they turned out. I still need to find fabric for the costume!

This is the fabric I just bought to make curtains for Tiffy's room! I am really excited about it. Her room is light green with animals all over the walls. I wanted something girlie, but that matched, and my husband spotted it for me! I can't wait to make them!!

I love the fabric for her curtains! So pretty and girlie! And since she's a little princess by birth, very suiting!

Very clever idea for her costume btw.. I'd never think of sending a little one as a slice of pizza!

Thanks. I guess other people have thought of the idea too though, because I ended up seeing a pizza costume on a website after I already planned it! *LOL* I thought of it because Halloween is my husband's favorite holiday and he LOVES pizza, so I thought, "I bet he'd really like it if I turned our baby into a slice of pizza!" *LOL* So.. that's what I'm going to do!
