My DH is being a butt lately. He is going through some medical problems and is in a lot of pain. So that is really not helping his attitude.

Last night I was just talking about all the things that I have to get done. I have church craft sale stuff to do. I was givien all the materials and I just have to sew, I have the kids halloween costumes to finish, I have a light the night walk and then I have a showcase show that I have to finish all these blankets, kits and bags for. All by the 25th, 31st and then 2nd of November. He said "Maybe you shouldn't take on so much" and walked away. I wish that I would have had a spoon to throw at him. I know that he is in a lot of pain but this is nothing compared to other things that I have done.

Is there anyone else that has a complainer?

I'm so sorry Beccaak! I wish there was something I could say to comfort you but I haven't been in that situation. (hugs)

Right after her posted this he called and said sorry for complaining.

A few weeks ago we found out that all the pain that he has is because of degenerative disc disease, a herniated disc and nueropathy. He is in a lot of pain but will not take the pain meds. He is a very addictive person and he just doesn't think that taking a controlled substance all the time would be a great idea. We went to see a Neurosurgeon about the nueropathy and she said that there is nothing that she can do for him because he shouldn't have that until he is in his early to mid 40's. Since he is only 27 they took my copay and sent us on our way. We have to wait until the 24th because that is the soonest that the back DR can see him. He thought that the nuerosurgeon would have helped. So I think that the only option that we have left is for spine surgery.

So that is the reason why he is so cranky and I guess he figures that I am strong enough to take the punishment of his crankiness without lashing out. We were talking last night after dinner and I told him that if I had a fork that morning he might be missing an eye right now...He said I know. And then he watched a movie with all three kids so that I could do some of the work on this king size quilt.

So things will get better.
