I see on your blinkie that you have lost 35 pounds !!!! So what have you been doing???Can you share some tips. I was dieting but then fell of the wagon and gained it back.. Ugh!!!! I'm starting back up today and just am really hoping to stay on track this time with counting calories and exercise. Any advice would be great!!!! Thanks!!
Thanks for noticing Since last November I've lost just over 35lbs, first I did a low glycemic diet for a few months, and now I've been doing Weight Watchers Core since mid-June. The past two weeks have been a struggle, but the past two days I've been back on Core. For exercise I try to get on the elliptical downstairs twice a week for 20 mins, and we were doing stroller walks. Now that the snow's nearly here I'll have to be downstairs more, either exercising or sewing DH is also losing weight, he's lost about 140 since Christmas, he feels so much better. I'll go find a link to our pictures...
Great Job Marie!!! and your husband I can't believe he lost 140 pounds that is amazing!!! So is there anything you can't eat on WW core? I don't know much about it . I wan't to do adkins but I find that really hard to stick to.
WW Core is more about eating foods off a list and not having to count. I eat lots of vegs and fruits, lean meats, they only allow ground meats once a day. You can have more, but you have to point it and you get 35 extra pts each week for stuff not on the Core list. You can also only have one of the following once a day: whole wheat pasta, brown rice or potatoes. If you want it more often, then again you point it. I found its a more sustainable lifestyle change than counting points or never eating carbs again. I lasted three weeks on Atkins when I did it 6 years ago, then I rebounded after when I got to eat again
