I've been learning how to crochet and I think I am doing ok!???

I want to make this, my first project...

http://www.crochetville.org/forum/sh...ad.php?t=40271

but I am stuck!!!
I dont know where to stick my hook into next? (where it says in red)

Quote:
Sole
Row 1: Ch 18, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 16 chs, 5 sc in last ch.
Working down opposite side of chain, sc in next 15 chs, 2 sc in last ch, join with sl st to first sc.

Row 2: Ch 2, hdc in same st , hdc in next 16 sts, 2 hdc in each of the 5 sc, hdc around, 2[/b]
Will it be hard for any of you to explain it to me some how?

Thanks!

Well I'm not totally sure a I have never seen a pattern worded quite like that because it sounds like you should put it in the chain 2 space? Let me wip one up and see what I think I'll be back

Hdc in same stitch means that you half double crochet in the same stitch you did your ch2 on.
