I want to use a poem, and it is a little long. Can I type it up, print it off of my computer and use it? Is the ink from a printer ok? Or should I just hand write it?

TIA!!!

I use my printer to scrapbook all the time. Your ink should be fine. Make sure you use acid free paper and not the stuff that is already in your printer. And if you use Vellum that you allow for dry time. It is really fun to play around with the different fonts to do your page up. There are also a lot of free font sites out there. If you need any LMK and I can PM you some links.

Hey thanks for the info!

ok...here's another question - and it may be a dumb one, but is there "special" acid free printer paper, or can I use the same stuff that I use in the scrapbook for regular pages...(did that make sense?)

I just want to know if I have to buy special acid-free paper, or if I can use what I've got on hand already...

Thanks!!!!!!

You can use the same stuff you use in your scrapbook to put in your printer to print on. I would be careful with cardstock tho (the thicker stuff) as it tends to not want to feed in right and sometimes leaves marks on the edge where the printer was pulling it thru. I hope that made sense.

HTH!!
