On the cabinet there are exposed hinges and door handles that I don't think I'm going to be able to replace. I just don't think I'd be able to find something that would work considering I'm going to have to special order handles already. I know there is a way to paint something like that. I remember seeing on some home improvement show they had this little tube of something that they used to turn something metal into a nickel finish. Does anyone know what to use??? thanks!

Hmmm.... you might try to Google that. The only metal I know anything about is bronze, and the only thing I can do is age it. I want to say I've seen something on TV that could age copper. It was some sort of white junk. All they did was rub it on.

Just go to Lowe's. You can ask them anything! My BIL works there and they know me, so they always ask what projects I'm on lol!

If you want to use spray paint (and there are some fantastic metal tones) try Krylon, you can paint anything with that brand. There are still loads of other products out there to get the same result. It just depends on how much you want to spend and how much time you want to invest.

Just make sure what ever you buy says it will bond with metal.
