Well, I've seen some cross-stitching and some talk about scrappin'...otherwise what are we all working on?

I've got my grandparents day gifts coming along - placemats, buttons, and will TRY to do a scrapbook type page to frame...also working on sewing my mom a Christmas vest for her birthday.

Anyone else got any projects that you're working on? What are they? And post some pics if you can!!!

still plugging away on my stars and stripes barn(cross stitch)

I am doing the backstitching on it.

I am almost done with this projcct. I have to do just a couple of hours of backstitching at a time or I go crazy. So I am working on this and other small projects.

I can finally see the end of this project though!!!!

I'm making some scrap pages from our visit to the museum yesterday, a scrapbook for our adoption, I making some cards, and I'm painting some glasses for a shower gift. I'd really love to learn to decorate cakes. You know like perfessional looking. I think that would be fun and then you could make your kids cakes for occassions and things. Does anyone know how?

refinishing our dining room chairs, mainly because DH lost his temper after the tragedy with his brother and broke one. It is costing me 10.00 to fix and refinish the one, and another 15 or so to get enough stain to do the rest. (I hate the white backs and legs on them so I am sanding the paint off and starting the finish from scratch)

Geesh, I am working on too much right now LOL. I am still painting dh's chess set. I have finally completed the walls and corner pieces. I am making some winter jammies for the kids and a lounging outfit for dh as well. I found a really neat quilt pattern, so I think I'm going to give quilting a try too. I need to get to work on my Christmas curtains, tablecloth and placemats, if I want to have them done in time.

The only thing i have a pic of is one of the corner pieces to dh's chess set.

I have been making all of my kids' and my family's birthday cakes since the last bakery mess up back in February. I don't know how professional they look, but they look all right I guess. I had some pics on the computer, but it crashed a few months ago and I lost everything! One disadvantage to digital pics, I suppose). Go to www.wilton.com . It has loads of information, and decorating techniques.

I am working on my scrapbook for my baby........I have all the pre-baby stuff done.
I add WAY to much to my babys scrapbooks. I have pictures of me a friend took of me getting my u/s done...belly shots of friends whom where pg at the same time as I was, plus baby showers gotta add all of those pictures to the scrapbook. So I can NOW work on the actual birthday pictures! I love those newborn shots!
