I have a brothers sewing machine and I think I got the wrong needle for the fabric I am using. I am trying to make blankets for the kids with minky and another fabric (varies). I got universal quilting needles but I think they may be wrong. Does anyone know how to tell what kind of needle you need for making baby blankets? Any help is greatly appreciated.
I know this post is WAY old, but for future reference to any other members with a similar question you need to coordinate the type of needle with the type of fabric you are using. The needle packaging will indicate what type of point the needles have and you can google to see if its compatible with your fabric.
