So as I said Jason was born 3 months early, he was 3lbs 13oz,big for being so early. but he was very under developed. He had a easy road in the NICU he didnt have any issues what so ever, he honestly was their to grow. About a week before he was discharged they did routine testing for premiees which they found a hemerige in his brain, eye prematurities, he was also born with club feet. Im goign to say 3 days before we were discharged He started having issues eating. he was unable to suck swallow and breath at the same time. But we were still dischaged as they said but with a apnea monitor.
When got home we though everything was great! Jason stoped breathing numerous time nto only when he was eating, it was all the time( he would turn gray) so before we knew it he was admited to the childens hospital. During this stay he came down with menegitis They said the hemerige is causing serizers.
So today we are in PT for his clubbed feet.
Following up with the Neuro often for seziers.
we see the devepmental peds Monthly.
and the only answers we get are that, time will make a world of differnce.
So yeah. i tend to ramble so I tried to stop myself lol
I'm so sorry that you're having trouble with his breathing and more! I'm surprised that they would have let him go with those issues, especially if he developed problems eating. I'm so glad that he's under a watchful eye now. He looks like he's doing great, so keep it up! Good luck to you!
