I know some of our children have had a lot done to them and don't trust anyone, while others are more social. Where does your LO fit into that?

Ava is very leary about new people but will smile and babble with them only if I'm holding her. If I put her down, she'll freak out when someone new approaches.

Carter is pretty open to most strangers at this time, but he does not always acknowledge people when they talk to him. Of course mommy usually knows what is wrong and how to fix it, so if he's upset or crying, mommy takes over!

Right after he gets out of the hospital, Milo is clingy. He has a problem with other people holding him right now, but it's even people he knows. I think that he's not sure that they're not going to poke him, pinch, etc. Hopefully, we've finished the hospital stuff, so he'll be happy with other people. Though, really, he just wants down to play a lot, too!

When we're out in public, he's very smiley and interactive. His brother never meets a stranger. I'm a little surprised that Milo is so open, though, given his experience and how little we get to go out!

Joey is not clingy. In fact he usually wants to be free to move to who he wants when he wants, and will circle a room of people if I let him.

Melanie on the other hand is leary of strangers. She will not even try to talk around them anymore (she used to so we think it bothered her for people to say things like "can't she talk" or "speak clearly little girl" )

Matthew is fine around people, but the minute we walk into ANY kind of doctor's office for any reason, regardless of whose appointment it is, he totally flips out. Very inconvenient, but I can hardly blame him!

Ava is fine until she sees the baby scale and she loses it! Our kids are so smart!

Luke is so laid back. He goes with the flow. As long as you are talking to him, he doesn't care who you are.

Kyle is real outgoing and Mr. Social, he walks right up to kids and starts talking. It's Ian that's more clingy around strangers.
