For the first time, Kannon didn't check in with us when he woke up, and we didn't hear him leave his room. He came running into our room yelling, "YAY!YAY!YAY!" He was covered in chocolate and had a toy in each hand. Awesome. We couldn't stop giggling at his excitement.

I wish we could get out of going to family dinners. They're all depressing, and no one leaves feeling good about themselves. I hate it.

BUT we did it, Kannon and my cousin (who's 22) hunted the eggs we hid, and Milo hung out in a basket. So, it was ok.

It was somethiung else, I'll say that. Saturday my FIL was finally able to get taking off the vent and is doing so well without it, we feel very blessed. Sunday my kids got spoiled by Gramma Easter Bunny with giant baskets that were overflowing with goodies. Then we headed to church where the kids had so much fun finding a gazillion eggs (our church had well over 700 eggs and maybe 2 dozen kids). Everyone at church was so glad to see Joey again and we are glad we were able to go. The only downside was I also saw my SIL's nephew who is only a day older than Joey. His mother looked at me and said "I think your son should stay away from mine he just looks sick." OK, I realize that when you see Joey up close he can look sick (his eyes have the look of raccoon eyes sometimes) but there is no reason to be so rude and mean about it. She also made comments loud enough for me to hear about how special her son is to be so healthy and have never been sick. There was lots more she said but I'm choosing to blow her off as being a spoiled rotten brat (which she is) who just doesn't understand.

We had a great weekend! Saturday we went to a couple of local egg hunts - Eric had a blast - and Sunday we went over to a friend's house and did dinner and an egg hunt with them (they have a 6 year old that loves to play with Eric). Danny was growth spurting all weekend so he didn't get a whole lot out of it, other than some good naps, heh.

Ugh, what a horrible person she is! You'd think family wouldn't be like that, but I guess some people are just negative. I'm sorry your SIL can't keep her mouth shut.
