Are you a reader? What are you reading now? What do you want to read?
In high stress times (like this week and definitely next week) I read to unstress. I went out to get a book that I would'nt need to think while reading. Russell Brand's new book should do the job. I don't feel so bad when I read how insane he is.
I also read to escape stress... Right now the main book I'm reading is the Circle Trilogy by Ted Dekker, a recommendation by a coworker. I just started it, but I'm enjoying it so far - the main premise is that this guy sort of bounces between two worlds, when he's asleep or unconscious in the "real" world he is living in a second world that has a sort of post-apocalyptic feel.
...I'll admit it, though: I am also re-reading Twilight, at a much slower pace so I catch all sorts of things I'd missed the first time, when I read it in, er, a day.
i love to read, it is my one escape. I just finished a book called The Turtle Catcher by Nicole Helger. It was a wonderful book. Novel set in WW1 wisconsin. and before that i read Honolulu by Alan Brennert. Also novel set in Hawaii in the early 1900's
