Sunday we are going to church. Its First Sunday and all the May birthdays get to go to the front and David is so excited to tell everyone its HIS birthday this month. Other than that not sure, I try to get to park on Saturdays but I think I'll probably do that Sunday this week instead.

I am at the National Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Conference this weekend. Learning more about my little girls (niece's) condition and making it a nice family vacation. The kids are having a blast swimming in the pool and we are going to check out the zoo, take a tour, and check out the Children's Museum while we are here. I am learing lots and meeting alot of interesting people. But I also can't wait until we are back home, with our routines and stuff. This is really throwing the kids off, especially Alex, he hates transitions but is having a blast.

Well, Milo's stuff doesn't leave much time, but we did manage a quick walk around a lake nearby. Tonight, we'll try to clean. Tomorrow, I have to go pick up a bunch of stuff from my grandparents' house that my sister left. She wants me to ship some and put other in storage for her...in all my spare time. Glad to do it, though. Not much excitement, I know, but that's our weekend!

We are in knee deep this weekend. Yesterday I managed to clean and paint two coats in Kyle's room - and Karl brought up the built-in wall units to start installing.

Today we went and staked out the yard where the playground is going in. Went and bought the playground, and went and bought retaining wall block to enclose the area for the mulch. Then tonight we pulled up the carpet where the built-in is going, and began installing it.

Tomorrow we're tilling out the area where the playground is going as well as edging the beds, and cutting in the new walkways (stepping stones with moss, so all the grass has to come out in those areas as well).

Monday we'll install the new drainage, and start putting the retaining blocks in. Sometime during the week we'll start putting the playground set together too. EEK - we have a lot of work to do

My adopted brother was born with FAS. He is an incredible kid, currently in his first year of College My parents found a good educational format for him when he was little, and it made all the difference in the world.
