How many hours of sleep do you get at night? I know we sleep much less than our LO's do. Do you take naps during the day?

When things are "normal" about 4-5 hours. But since ty's surgery we have to give meds around the clock, so closer to 2-3

Right now, no more than 2 hours consecutively. Per night, 4-5 hours. The night after Grier's surgery I got zero, I sat up all night watching her. But I blame the majority of the sleep issues on being pregnant. A lot of it is for Grier's night meds and changings, but when I do get to lay down, the baby is up kicking me like crazy or jumping on my bladder LOL. And trying to get comfortable is always hard by this time. I'll sleep better in a few days when I have a comfy bed and a hubby to help with the nighttime stuff.

depending on where in Joey's cycle we are. Day 1 I get plenty of sleep because them IV chemo has him so exhausted that he sleeps 20 hours out of 24. Days 2-7 are horrible. He is on steroids days 1-5 so he has roid rage for them and a few days after. I get maybe 3-4 hours during this and try to squeeze a nap in at some point. Days 8-21 vary. Thursdays are almost always good sleep days because those are our weekly chemo days. All the others are usually 4-5 hours sleep.

Traci, what steroids is he on? We have been trying to get Ava off one of her steroids for weeks. She made it a week and yesterday they put her right back on them for streptococcal bacteria growing on her lung biopsies.

On average I get 4-6 hours of sleep but rarely all at once. Aiden still wakes atleast once at night, but he has slept through the night once or twice.

Prednisone. He was on prednisone for 12 weeks straight, with 2 tapers in there. Now he takes the prednisone in 5 day blasts every 21 days. When on them he has roid rage, when off them he's great.

Prednisone is what we've been working on getting her off of. But she's back on them again. *sigh* Looks like no catching up on vaccines for a while.

On average, six. Sometimes broken up. I nap on the days I have to work that night if both boys nap at the same time. Some mornings when I get home from work & not had a nap that day, I have been up over 24 hours.
