I'm noticing very fast how many specialties there are! And how many different specialties one special needs child may need.

What specialties does your child see?

****************************

Ava sees (*or has an appt to see):
Her normal pediatrician
Otolaryngology (ENT)
Gastroenterology
Pulmonary
Neurology
OT/ST
EI
Orthopedic surgeon*
Neurosurgery*
Genetics*
Feeding team*

I think it's way too much! They are doing to start charging us rent.

I know that I'll forget a lot of them-we have appointments tentatively scheduled sort of far out, so they're not as "fresh" as some in my head.
Ped
OT
ST
PT
Other EI (which I sort of don't get)
Developmental Ped (One time so far, will see again)
GI
Nutrition/Feeding (And there's an extra person involved in another part of town who does official height/weight checks for him)
General surgery
Genetics
Pulmonology
Pulmonology/Sleep specialty
Neuro and various neuro teams (scheduled)
Ophthalmology (Once so far, seeing again)
Orthopedist
Talking about cardio, but nothing yet
Endocrinology
Allergy/Immunology (Once, will see again)
Will have team of specialists who work with each other soon (in addition to the ones he has already)
ENT (Think they're funneling us into one of the specialties)
I know that there are at least 2 more, but I can't remember. (Bad mama.)
Ohhh...he's not a specialist, but we're set up with a specific pharmacist for all of Milo's Rxs. We also have to go in for weight/O2/etc. with the various med supply places. I don't think that other clients have to, but Milo is so small that they want to check.
Again, I know that I'm leaving out something.
