The boys' daycare had a professional development day today, so I stayed home the morning with them, and we had an AWESOME morning. I was totally disappointed when DH came home and traded out with me. Went out ot the mall, since the weather's sucky, and played in their playland for a while, which they both seemed to love. A few kids wanted to check out (aka, touch and pull off) Danny's cords and headpieces, which was a challenge, but we managed. Had a nice conversation with another mom too who asked about him and what they were, what we'd been through. It's kind of cathartic to me to share his story.

My son (27 mo SDCP) just started pairing consonants and vowels in a string (bee-baa-boo-bow) and he's using his forearm crutches for 90% of his day now

I hope I am not intruding, but have you seen this blog about a 21 year old with SDCP?
