What season is the busiest for doctors appts for your SN child? So far this past Summer was horrible and by far the busiest for appts. I'm hoping for a quiet Winter.

There's no real season for us yet. This summer has been the heaviest load of therapy appointments, and we are looking to reduce some services come our next IFSP. Typically IFSP time is the craziest, because we always try to fit in all the extra evals and such right before. We're lucky that our NICU follow up isn't landing at the same time this time...they pushed it back to Feb and we don't have to squeeze that in on top of everything else.

We don't really have a season, I guess. It's sort of busy all the time. I'm afraid that the winter will be a busy season for irregular things, like illness, meds, etc. Eek!

I don't feel like it ever slows down, but summer is a little bit slower because his infant teacher in the school only works 4 weeks out of the summer and the rest we have "off", of course we still do all this therapies.

The busy time of year starts in August & goes until June of the following year. It's non-stop.
