We happened to pass a trunk-or-treat place on the way to go to my grandparents' house before trick-or-treat. It was so much fun! Milo was sleeping the whole time, but Kannon and his spider costume were a big hit. Last night, we went to a nice neighborhood near my grandparents'-one way in and one way out, and they hire cops to patrol for the evening. People decorate all over, so it's nice. One place even gave out hot dogs to parents and kids. Kannon wore his spider costume, Milo wore his skeleton outfit. I was going to make Milo a ghost outfit, but he can't walk, it was wet, and we knew that we'd be carrying him, so we went with the simple skeleton I found. WAY cute, though! They had a great time! Kannon originally thought that we were supposed to go GIVE candy to people in their homes. Milo eventually figured out what was going on. When people would open the door, he'd yell something, then he'd crane his neck to see what was in the bowls and what they were putting in his bag. We got a few weird comments about Milo not being old enough to appreciate...so I had to tell them that he DOES understand and is much older than he looks. Poor Kannon was called "cute little girl" all night. We're used to that. We'll get around to the haircut eventually. LOL
