How did it go, if you don't mind me asking? I know that you weren't exactly looking forward to it...

I'm wondering too! I'm right there with you in not looking forward to them... Ours is in a week, ugh.

It went okay. Her goals last time were to bear weight on arms and legs. Now it's to walk with assistance of a posterier walker and strengthen left side.

They are depressing.

Aw, Hope. (((HUGS))) I think that she's been doing amazingly well. I know that that's very little comfort, but still-she's a champ! And I bet no one looks cuter with her walker. LOL I saw a little boy the other day with a horn on one side of his walker...and he asked me to help him attach a ray gun to the other side. Does Ava need a ray gun? I'm straying here...sorry.

They all tend to set goals low so that the kids can meet them and be ensured to have services, I think. The first eval report I got in the mail made me cry. They made Milo sound like he was all but vegetative. Ava will show 'em...

Aww hon, hugs!! They are totally depressing, but at the same time, you can see the progress and there's a certain feeling when you meet goals, you know?

Of course, then there are the times you miss a goal, like we're heading into..... ugh.

I think Ava totally needs a ray gun!

LOL @ the ray gun. I'm gonna buy her a basket to put on her walker.

Ignore me today, I'm just having a moody day.

I'm sorry they depressed you, but you know she is making strides and thats all we can ask of her.
