Christmas eve was horrible (both vehicles stuck in snow drifts, digging them out, etc etc, etc) but because of it, my neighbors were trapped in the house and we invited them over. It was fun to have a full house at MY house for Christmas.
Gifts were wonderful. DH did a much better job than last year, lol. Carrie got so much she doesn't know what to do with it all. Only bad part of Christmas day was thatit's very over stimulating for Carrie so there was some crying and I hated thatshe couldn't enjoy gifts the way other children do.
This coming year I'm looking forward to the arrival of our second and LAST child. I'm hoping that Carrie can catch up this year and looking forward to things steadying out with DH's job.

Christmas was beautiful for us. I let go of worries and cares for a few days and just enjoyed my kids being kids! Santa was definitely good to them, and wasn't a slouch for me either. Most memorable was probably the boys sitting side by side playing playdough... Danny actually got into it for a bit, and even having to stop him from eating it was a blessing with all the troubles we had for a while getting him to put anything in his mouth.
For 2010, I hope for words for Danny, continued health, and finally being able to let go of my fear for Danny's development.
