Hiya! I'm Angie, mommy to Emmy (3) and Joey (11 months). Joey's my little miracle boy! He was born with Hydrocephalus which has affected his life in a lot of ways. He has low muscle tone which affects his physical development. He is at an 8-9 month level. He gets PT and OT once a week, and he has come a LONG way! But we still have many more challenges to face down the road. Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Welcome to the board, Angie! I'm glad you've joined us Your kids are gorgeous! It sounds like Joey is doing fabulously with only a couple months' delay right now, that is great news. Sounds like he's got a good team, and of course, a great mama too!

I'm Kel, and I consider Danny my little miracle as well. He was born with a virus that caused some scarring and calcification in his brain and resulted in low muscle tone and profound hearing loss, but he's come such a long way in his 2 years. Please jump right in on the board, I can't wait to get to know you and your little guy! How has Emmy done with everything that's come with her little brother?

I love all of his hair in your siggie. Is it more blond or does the picture just make it look lighter?

Thanks ladies!! Can't wait to get involved in the board! Hi Anne!

Anna, his hair is actually brownish-red (just like his daddy's lol). Its super curly though which I LOVE!!

Kel, Emmy has done wonderfully with Joey! She TRIES with Joey lol, and most of the time she does well, but there are times where I have to remind her that he's just a baby. She means well I think, but oh well. She's 3, what can you do!

Hi and welcome! Your children are so cute!

My youngest DD has a few issues (most likely a syndrome). She has external hydrocephalus. No shunt needed right now. She goes to the eye doc every 3 mths for pressure checks. Her fontanel is still open because of the fluid. she's also hypotonic with weekly OT and PT.

*Hugs* to you hun!
