Mother's Day here was not good. Kaiden's seizure activity tripled (I think it was the green peppers I ate on Friday + teething) and he spent the day either having spasms or screaming. DH spent it outside. He's building a fence to go around the garden he's planning to dig for me this month. I didn't get anything done, couldn't even relax . . . I pretty much spent it crying with Kaiden.
not much happening this week here, either. We don't have to see the orthopaedic surgeon this week because he said we could start coming in once every three weeks now (woohoo!) so for Jonah's schedule we just have EI baby class (they're talking about moving him to the toddler class for transition soon... ) and speech therapy. For my schedule, I have a midwife appointment tomorrow (actually it was supposed to be today, but midwives' schedules often change) and I was supposed to host playgroup but canceled because no one wanted to come, and on Friday I have a meeting with my mommies' group
For Mother's Day I got a big fat bill from Jonah's speech therapist! I wish my DH were more thoughtful, or any of the other people living in the house- someone could have had Jonah paint me a picture or something
Click the blinkies!
Thank You, Pattyandthemoos, for my beautiful siggy!
OMG! I hope that Kaiden has settled down since then, hon ... that would be a terrible day
My Mother's Day was pretty good... DH got me chocolate (which isn't really helping my whole weight loss pursuit, but he tried) and watched Danny for a bit so Eric and I could go outside and plant our garden. Pretty quiet, but not bad. As for this week, it's a pretty quiet one for the most part; Danny's got Audiology on Friday morning, and we're still missing one of his headpieces for his implant, so that will be - um - interesting. I'm hoping they have a spare by then so we can get some bilateral readings, since we're only doing audi every couple of months!
