Do you get copies of your child's medical records?

I did at first, but I stopped pretty quickly. I just don't have the space and ability to store it all!

No, but I do have a copy of Joey's first MRI on a CD, and I plan on getting the rest of them. I've never seen any of the other scans he's had, and I would really like to so I can see the difference in his brain since he got his shunt in.

yes, and I keep a special binder for them. It has come in VERY handy. There's too much for me to keep track of, and often times specialists ask about such and such that he had done, and it's handy to just whip out the binder to answer.

I need to compile everything. We moved a year ago and now the new neuro is asking for things not in his file form the pedi, I have to re-request everything.

I need to make a binder of some sort that has his IEPs and test results.

I have scanned a few items and I think once I get a copy of everything again, I'm going to get a flash drive specifically for Sam and just scan everything.

I have copies of the valuable things that we need... blood counts, his roadmap, radiology reports from scans, the Scan disks, surgery reports, etc... I get them directly from the doctor at no charge, and I keep them in his Care Folder. IN there I also keep info about LCH, his port, his meds (and a list of them w/ dosages), etc... I use that folder for everything.
