Gri has been on the feeding tube for over a year now and has developed a STRONG oral aversion because of it. We got her on 100% oral a while ago, but then she developed a bad infection and had to go in for another major surgery and ileostomy re-placed, and since then (2 months ago) she hasn't eaten orally, at all. We are starting with an SLP this week both for her oral aversion and her speech delay (27 months and doesn't speak) and I'm a little nervous about what to expect!

Good luck!! We ended up not needing much for oral aversion, but I know our OT mentioned some "chewy sticks" which are like rubber sticks of increasing resistance that she was going to use to work with him before he decided to skip right to easy, dissolving foods. As for speech, a lot of that basically just comes through play! I hope it goes well for you guys
