we go tomorrow for her appointment with the eye doctor. Her eye is crossing in when she is trying to look further away at things. I also think her vision is not as good as we thought it was. I think she can accomadate well. For example I was at a friends house for her daughters birthday part, there were like 5 of us standing in a circle talking. Well Avery walked into the middle of us and starting going in circles looking up and calling "mommy mommy mommy" and didn't stop till I said I was right there, then she came to me with her arms up. broke my heart. She has also in the past woken up in the middle of the night so its dark and will stand at the back of the crib looking at the wall and call me.
so I have a feeling that tomorrow he is going to say it's time for surgery we were going to have them in november, but he canceled them since she was doing so well. I thinkit might be timenow

well yesterday was what I expected it to be.
I was right yippe for me right!? ugh!!
He looked at her eyes and she is no longer using her right eye. We dialted both eyes and her left while having a lot of scar tissue he can still see into her eye. The right however he can't see into. Which means she is completely blind in that eye.
Surgery in 1 to 2 weeks. Should know today or tomorrow what day.
They will go in and take out the scar tissue. We might be doing implants at that time... not sure yet. its a 50/50 chance either way of risk vs benefit. UGh it's hard to know what is right
I'm so sorry you and Avery have to go through this.
Do you mind if I ask about the implants? Is it like replacing the cornea? I'm just curious.
I hate 50/50 splits. Definitely doesn't make things easy. But I'm sure you'll make the right decision.
More Let us know when you schedule the surgery.
