Who uses them?
What kind does your child use?
Do you like them?

Ava uses DAFO's and has been wearing them since before she turned 1. She's on her 4th set and they have helped her so much! Her braces have always went to her knees, so kinda big.

Who uses them? Carrie has them

What kind does your child use? Same as breea

Do you like them? They're fine. Carrie seems to be okay with them, but it limits sandals and mary jane kind of shoes, so I hate that I have to dress her around them.

Ellie uses DAFOs too. They go not quite up to her knees.

They do help her a lot with standing and walking but she HATES them. I think there might be some mild sensory issues going on. She can't stand to have any extra weight on her feet. It's always a fight to get her to wear them and she usually wins. (I know, I know. I'm a pushover. )

Mason has AFO's. I'm not sure what you mean by kind. They are made locally here in the Phoenix area, so they aren't name brand. They go up to the back of his knees as well. It took us 2 months to get him properly fit for them, and by then he was starting to stand more. Until recently he screamed if I put them on. I think he is ready for SMO's, but our insurance insists they won't cover them.
