I just got back from the Dr today. We had a weight ck and I go back on Sept 7th.

I found a way to increase his formula calories to 22 and he can handle. The Dr was so exicted. He is very pleased, Nathan has started to gain an ounce a day. Or has done so since the last visit.

So I'm keeping my fingers crossed for when we go back!

Yaay! That's great news! I'm glad Nathan's tolerating it. What formula did you find worked for him? I remember before it seemed the formula made his reflux worse. We used to mix Anika's formula at 28 cal., then 24, 22, and so on. You're little man is doing great! :clapping:

I'm using a soy formula!

We are currently using Isomil, and when I make it I make 8 ozs as he eats 2-3 ozs a time. Well instead of the 4 scoops required for 8 ozs of water, I add 5. This according to the Dr makes it 22 cal formula!

We are putting a drop of gas drops in each bottle and it seems to help, sometimes...but not really and given as one dose, doesn't seem to cut the gas down or help him.
