I'm here! We finally are getting in to Cincinnati on June 21st. I am really excited! We will finally have people looking at him that have an idea of what they are talking about! We are moving on the 15th, have to be out by the afternoon of the 20th, leave for Cinci the night of the 20th, appointments on the 21st, back to knoxville after the appointments, then leave for California for three weeks on the 22nd. Phew! It will be a VERY busy few weeks for us.

We are here. Nothing good happening right now in fact a list of todays not good stuff is

Carrie was refused membership at a toddler gym cause they dont want a 3 year old in a mommy and me class (regular 3 year olds are in an unaccompanied class and they "dont want to mix the ages")

Fort Sill "lost" our medical record release form (for the second time) and is now trying to refuse to send us records (long story, but legal)

The developmental pediatrician is dodging my calls and now almost 3 months after our appt, we've not received her report or records. We're having to file a complaint with the Oklahoma state medical board about this.

and the school Carrie's going to is trying to push off the intake meeting until the beginning of he next school year (meaning that Carrie wouldn't start school until after the year began and they met for this appt.) they're using the excuse that they have legally 15 days from the date that Carrie's records were received from her old school, and no one dated them... so they "have nothing to go off of". I submitted the enrollment papers a month ago, so we're already past the 15 days but I have no proof.

all i do is yell. "you catch more flies with honey" is B S

unfortunately it's not. the military is only involved in the school and Sill records problems the rest is civilian.UGH... I even called the doc and told them I filed a formal complaint with the medical board and they STILL won't call me back

I'm here.
Ellie just got her first set of casts yesterday and I threw my back out the other day trying to lift her so I can barely move right now. It's really really HOT! so we're staying inside as much as possible and being lazy bums as much as we can get away with it.
Abbey's birthday is the 23rd. She wants to go camping. I love camping but right now I just don't see how we're gonna do it.

She's like preteen age isn't she? What about setting up a tent in the back yard and letting her and a friend or two camp out in your backyard? mix sleepover with camping roast smores on a grill, give them flashlights and let them stay up and giggle.

She might love it...my friend's neice is 13 and she loved the idea when her mom (a total jerk) flat out refused to let her go camping with my friend.

I know that feeling. I hate that Katie spends half her existence in a waiting room for Carrie's therapies or strapped in her stroller during Carrie's MANY specialist appointments. That isn't going away but I feel bad that it's the life that katie will know.

Abby will probably love it though, when it's too hot and gross to sleep outside, they'll probably come in and be glad to have AC and a bathroom! At 12 the whole world is about your friends and giggling with them about boys and gossip, an outside camp out will probably be great. And since she's outside it's as close to unsupervised as most preteens get in a sleepover... thats a big deal at that age
