Do you take your special needs child to church? We take Kailyn but it's getting harder to manage. She's still not walking but won't stay in her stroller; she wants us to hold her the whole time. She's squirmy and fussy and it's difficult to pay attention to what's being said. Although that's pretty typical behaviour of a 2 year old I don't think it's going to get much easier as she gets older!

Yes, I take Ava to church. They have a preschool room and she goes in there. They know to page me if her pump starts alarming or she starts acting funny, etc.. The ladies are really great with her!

Same with Danny. We go and the nursery/children's staff had an overview of what to watch for and when to call. It is posted on the wall so he stays with them.

Thanks! We have child care at our church too but I've been nervous about letting her go there. I'm always nervous to let her be taken care of by strangers but I have to let go sometime....I suppose......

I take my son to church (I'm the youth minister there, so yeah). He goes to the nursery, but I'm looking into starting a special needs class for him and some other kids that would benefit from it. He needs something that is more on his level. He's not a baby anymore, but he certainly can't handle the craziness of children's church either, you know?
