How do you choose sitters? I have had a really hard time lately thinking about the future. I will be doing student teaching next year and Danny will be in Kindergarten. I am so nervous because my mom is planning on working and my other sitter is graduating with me in May and will be moving either to WA state, TX, or Europe after graduation. Those are the only two people that I currently trust with Danny and they will both be unavailable after May 2012. I would love to get a Nanny that way one person would be with him and would consistently know what he needed but that seems really out of what I can afford right now. Any other suggestions?

My girls either stay with my sisters or go to my best friend's house. They all know Jamie's problems and know how to care for her.

I have yet to choose a sitter outside of DH, my mom, my MIL, and a good friend. Not sure what to do when that time comes . . .

I ALWAYS use my parents, BUT I've looked through sittercity and there have been some REALLY qualified (and background checked) ladies on there. I've interviewed a couple and were really happy with them (then for other reasons weren't able to use them)
