Hello! I just joined the boards today and have been introducing myself where I feel I fit in. I am a foster Mommy to three 2yr olds, who all have special needs. Solas has severe autism, Avery has an immune deficiency, and Alyssa is deaf. Hoping to find support from ladies who know what it's like

Hey! I saw you pop in on the housekeeping board. Glad to "meet" you!

I'm Alycia, mama to Carrie and Katie. Katie is typical, but Carrie has special needs. She has no diagnosis and at this point it's been determined that she probably never will. She's just learning to walk (she's 4) and speaks only a few words. She also has some sensory issues, so we're a little bit of everything in our house

If you're looking, the board "children with developmental delays and disorders" is also a great board to be on. It's mostly Autism, but there are great ladies both here and there.

Welcome to the SN board! My name is Hope and my sn child is Ava. She has a long list of diagnosises, but her primary is Mitochondrial disease. She is tube fed and oxygen dependant (50% of the time on O2 right now). With her Mito she has immune suppression, mostly due to chronic neutropenia.

I hope you like our board. We have a lot of different special needs here

Thanks ladies! Avery is also mostly tube fed. She will only "eat" Pediasure in a bottle.

welcome to the group! I'm Kaytee, mommy to a crazy almost 6 year old with no special needs. And my little one is Avery, 2 1/2, she was born with bilateral cataracts and nystagmus (shaking of the eyes) she is legally blind and has had 6 surgeries and 2 more scheduled. One on Wed. and one in 2 weeks. She also has moderate reflux, it is as severe as it gets without surgery... yet. We pray we don't need to go there.

Hi Lexi. I just *met* you on the adoption board. Glad to see you here too.

My little Ellie has cerebral palsy, chronic lung disease and severe anxiety with selective mutism (secondary to ptsd).

JM has been a great support for me since we adopted her. Especially this board. I hope we can be a support for you too.

Welcome. I don't post very often but I do check in all the time... My son Preston was diagnose with hemihyperplasia about 6 months ago. Right now his left leg is 2 inches shorter and hopefully nothing else goes wrong.

I'm Lisa mommy to Aiden 3 and Preston 2.
