Kayla broke her arm!! She lost control of her bike going down a steep hill. My poor baby!
I have to say though she has an amazing attitude about the whole thing. She was even joking that she only did it because Ellie was having so much fun with her casts. (not really but I like the thought) She wanted one too. Ellie's been giving her lots of "advice". It's so cute.
Now I have 2 kids in 3 casts. Just when I thought we were over the hump. We definitely got some concerned looks at church yesterday. I just hope no one decides to call social services.
She does much better now during the day. She'll stand and even walk (just a few steps at a time) in them pretty well now and she's having fun decorating them.
She's an old pro at getting the new casts put on but taking them off is still horrible.
I can't seem to convince her that the saw they use isn't going to cut her. She SCREAMS BLOODY MURDER every time and I have to hold her down while she cries... usually until she makes herself choke or throw up. It's just torture! I CANNOT WAIT for that part to be over with. Going in today for the second to last time. Wish us luck.
Definitely glad I haven't been taking Kayla with us for cast removals. Don't want to freak her out.
